CAREERS AT CLEMIOS
Build Production-Grade Systems with Clemios
For engineers who care about production systems.
Clemios is an engineering-led company working on real, production EV charging systems. Clemios teams design and build OCPP-based systems, embedded software, and validation infrastructure used in live environments.
English is the working language for all engineering and delivery activities at Clemios.
What Engineers Work On
At Clemios, engineers work on production systems deployed to real environments. Every line of code has consequences.
-
OCPP 2.0.1 integrations with a controlled upgrade path toward OCPP 2.1
-
Embedded firmware for EV chargers, gateways, and industrial controllers (C/C++, 8+ chip vendors)
-
Backend integrations with multiple CSMS implementations
-
Validation and interoperability testing across real charging systems
-
Long-term system architecture for German and EU clients
How Engineering Works at Clemios
-
1
Engineers work directly with engineers. No proxy layers, no account managers in between.
-
2
Clear ownership from design to validation. Build it, test it, ship it.
-
3
No artificial deadlines for demos. Quality and correctness matter more than velocity theatre.
-
4
Technical decisions are documented, reviewed, and traceable.
-
5
All work aligns with German and EU engineering standards: structured documentation, full traceability, and systematic testing.
Who Thrives Here
Engineers who thrive at Clemios:
-
Care about correctness and system behaviour
-
Are comfortable working across firmware, backend, and protocols
-
Prefer clear technical discussions over vague alignment meetings
-
Want to understand full systems, not just one slice
-
Value production responsibility over conference-driven innovation
This may not be the right fit for engineers who:
-
Prefer purely greenfield projects with no constraints
-
Avoid production responsibility
-
Expect highly prescriptive task breakdowns with no ambiguity
-
Are looking for a remote-first, async-only work culture
