Job Title: Junior Embedded Systems Developer
Location: Bangangté, West Region, Cameroon

Role Description
We are seeking a passionate Junior Embedded Systems Developer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role in Bangangté will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to exciting embedded systems projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Requirement Engineering:
    • Analyze project needs and develop detailed specifications.
  2. PCB Design:
    • Design components and multi-layer printed circuit boards using tools like Altium Designer, Fusion 360, or EAGLE.
  3. Firmware Development:
    • Design and implement software for microcontrollers (STM, Infineon, AVR, PIC, ESP32).
    • Develop communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MQTT, and TCP/IP.
    • Test and debug software to meet project requirements.
  4. Test Engineering:
    • Develop and execute both automated and manual tests.
    • Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate and integrate components.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Utilize modern development tools and CI/CD pipelines to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

  1. Required Skills:
    • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
    • Experience with microcontroller platforms and embedded Linux (e.g., Yocto).
    • Understanding of communication protocols like SPI, I²C, and UART.
  2. Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
    • Technical and Vocational Education Advanced Level in Electronic Systems or GCE Advanced Level.
  3. Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
    • Adaptability to work in international projects.
    • A passion for continuous learning and growth.
