Junior Embedded Developer (Traineeship Program)

The Program: Learn, Build, and Grow

Join our 12-month immersive traineeship designed to develop the next generation of embedded systems engineers. This full-time, paid program combines hands-on learning with real client projects. At the end of the program, top performers will be offered permanent positions within Clemios.


Your Responsibilities During the Traineeship

  • Embedded Software Development: Build firmware for EV chargers, gateways, industrial controllers, and IoT devices.
  • Full Development Lifecycle: Participate in requirement analysis, PCB design support, firmware coding (C/C++), and implement communication stacks (CAN, LIN, SPI, I²C, Ethernet, MQTT, OCPP).
  • Modern Engineering Practices: Learn CI/CD pipelines, version control, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation aligned with international standards, including OCTT-based protocol conformance testing.

Who We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

  • Foundational proficiency in C/C++ for microcontrollers
  • Understanding of electronic systems and communication protocols (SPI, I²C, UART)
  • Basic knowledge of PCB design and hardware-software integration
  • Strong interest in embedded systems, eMobility, and connected devices

Academic Eligibility

Applicants must have:

  • GCE Advanced Level with Grade B or higher in at least four science subjects (excluding Religious Studies), OR
  • Baccalauréat C or D with ≥14/20 in Mathematics and overall Mention Bien, with strong English proficiency, AND
  • HND, Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student), or Master’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
